Como agua entre los dedos (2024)
Como agua entre los dedos is a short film developed as my bachelor’s degree thesis. Written, directed, shot and edited by me, the project explores emotional distance and intimacy within a performance-driven, AI-influenced society, following the evolving romantic relationship between two women. The short film adopts a character-focused and restrained visual approach, allowing me to deepen my practice in cinematic storytelling and visual composition across all stages of production.
Is this your brave new world? (2025)
Inspired by Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, this short film was also written, directed, shot and edited by me. Drawing from experiences across Iceland, Germany, the United States, France and Spain, the project examines contemporary anxieties around climate change, media control, consumerism, individualism and the threat to women’s rights. Through an observational perspective, the short film reflects on the fractures beneath the promise of a modern utopia and its resonance in the present.
